Evie woke up this morning asking if we could go to 'Lost in Fun', a play place in Nebraska we went to with her cousins just before leaving for Taiwan.
Yu Kids Island is the closest thing to Lost in Fun here but we certainly have missed all her cousins.

Joel and Evie are trying to go all the way around in the revolving drum.

Padded stairs...this is what we need when we get back home. Evie is looking out into the store at the Barbie section. We usually stop there when we leave
Yu Kids Island and let her look around.

Peek-a-boo

Evie is holding the Barbie
Mariposa Doll (that has beautiful magic wings). She asked if she could just borrow this one, that she doesn't have this one...

In the evening Dylan took us to the
Feng Chia University night market. Dylan is ordering fried sweet potatoes with
Cinnamon and sugar on them. They may sound crazy but they were great. The kids loved them too.

Dylan is so good to Evie.

We were surprised to see a Japanese
vendor selling
Okonomiyaki, a Japanese-style pancake or pizza. In Japan, there are two areas where
okonomi-
yaki is very popular: Osaka and Hiroshima. Joel and I had it when we were in Osaka.
Okonomi means "what you like" or "what you want", and
yaki means "grilled" or "cooked" thus, the name of this dish means "cook what you like".

We ate dinner at a restaurant famous for its
peppered rice. It was good, and spicy. Evie had shrimp fried rice. She ate so well she got a special treat after dinner... ice cream.

Evie standing in line for her (10 NT) ice cream cone.

When Evie was about 1/4 of the way done with her cone Joel secretly cut it in half and told Evie he pushed the ice cream down into her cone since it was dripping (we really didn't want her eating that much ice cream). Later Evie asked why daddy threw away her ice cream...maybe she's more
observant than I give her credit for.
