Tunghai University

We went on a walk through Tunghai University which was founded by Methodist missionaries in 1955. The University is located on the western side of Taichung. A local landmark on the grounds is the Luce Memorial Chapel designed by noted architect I. M. Pei.

Walking to McDonalds for lunch. It's just across the street on the left.

Joel's look explains how his 'grilled chicken hamburger' tasted...basically, it tasted like how Taiwan smells. We thought we ordered chicken McNuggets for Evie and to our surprise we received a chicken leg. Yes, that's right, a chicken leg. They also have an interesting menu option for their kids meals; corn with raisins. It's what you see in the bowl in front of Evie.

Mr. T says "keep your hands off my chicken bone, fool". Evie's face is beat up because she fell at the park yesterday. She missed a jump and landed on her face scratching under her nose but nowhere else on her face. I saw her do it and still don't know how it's possible to do that.

Having fun at McDonald's playland
