Bangkok - Day #2

We started our morning at the Khlong Toei market, one of the largest outdoor markets in Bangkok.
A picture of the market from an over street walkway. The other side of the street was about three times as big.

After the market we went to the Children's Discovery Museum in greater Bangkok. Ethan fell asleep in the taxi on our way so he missed the first hour we were there. He was excited to wake up someplace fun though.

We had lunch at a restaurant at the Chatu Chak street market. It was hard to order lunch. Joel did a lot of pointing. He did a good job. Everything was pretty good.

Look at the size of those soup pots. We didn't order that.

Everybody say "I hope we don't get food poisoning"...

After naps we went to Lumpini Park. The kids had a great time. Evie met Nina, a little girl from Russia who is living in Bangkok. Evie ran up to her and took her by the hand and they were instant friends. They played so nicely until we left.

I'm not quite sure what this is but we saw it crawling in the grass when we entered the park. It was being chased by a cat.

Evie wasn't afraid to join group aerobics. You'll have to check out the video at the bottom of this post.

These little girls were so sweet to Evie. They gave her some bread so she could feed the fish too.

Ethan was so excited to see the park. He wanted down as soon as he saw it. He marched right over there.

We took the sky train home. Ethan loved holding on and playing peek-a-boo

Evie felt like such a big girl to stand like us and hold on all by herself.
