Tunghai Morning Market

We're back at the market I saw one morning on a bike ride. The kids enjoyed playing on the toys. This cute little boys mom actually took Ethan out of the stroller and put him on the ride with her son and looked at me while she was doing it saying "it's okay, it's okay". I wasn't quite sure what to say to that...

The kids are eating dried beans we bought at the market. They don't seem to notice they are in a moving car.

Evie liked this scooter ride the best. You'll have to check out the video at the bottom of this post.

I brought our camera on my ride this morning to take pictures of shoes I have seen on my bike route to add to the collection for my dad. Just by chance I saw this interesting alley which led to this totally amazing market tucked away behind the buildings. It went on for blocks, like it's own little world. It was really so cool. I can't wait to go back with Joel and the kids.

I feel bad not knowing the language here. This guy was trying to have a conversation with me and we just couldn't understand each other. We are trying to learn the basic language to get around town but it is a difficult language to learn.

These two ladies were so sweet. They didn't speak English but they were curious about my camera like they had never seen one before. I took their picture and then showed it to them. They were laughing at each other and pointing to the picture.

Sushi lovers might appreciate this...each piece of sushi was so beautiful, like a work of art. I can't wait to go back for lunch with Joel.

This guy melted my heart. Just a happy old man with his pile of sweet potatoes to sell.

Taro root - I have had Taro shakes and Taro chips before but I was always curious what it looked like

Pineapples are cheap here and delicious; about a dollar each. That includes having it cut it up and bagged
