One of the last things we do when closing the house down is take our trash to the dump. We think about how much trash we generate but it's easy to underestimate when it just goes in a trashcan and out to the curb and
disappears. Well, in Colorado we actually take our trash to the dump and as you watch your trash bags on the ground pile up it's easy to see just how much trash our family alone just put into a hole in the ground that will eventually be covered up by dirt.
Its hard not to feel guilty about over consumption when you make a trip to the dump...
