Children's Art Museum

We went to the Taichung Children's Art Museum Saturday. Guess what...Santa was there...

The museum was great for the kids but surprisingly slow. We asked why it wasn't busy and the workers said because it's too cold outside. It was chilly but nothing compared to winter in Nebraska...

Ethan, making music. Check out the video at the end of the post.

A little Christmas play about Santa Clause. It was in Chinese but the kids enjoyed it.

Of course Evie found the dress up stuff...

Evie is pretending to be a mean dragon

These magic mirrors are always fun. I'm glad my husband really doesn't have the body of popeye the sailor man though
Enjoying brunch at Evie's cafe.

Getting rewarded for excellent service..

Cake for breakfast...now we're talking...

Evie and Joel let me serve them, which was fun

Ethan was busy having lunch with some new friends

Today was a special day at the museum because there were games to play with a prize at the end. This was one of the games (drawing anything we wanted onto this glass). Some of the other games were playing "rock, paper, scissors" with Santa, Singing 'We Wish You a Merry Christmas', making a paper airplane and flying it into a butterfly net, etc.

At the end we turned in our game sheets and the kids rolled a dice to see what prize they won. Evie got an ant farm and Ethan got antlers for the both of them.

I can't help but laugh at the placement of Ethan's antlers. I did correct it once and he put it right back where it was. It's okay, I like it there too.

Say cheese...
I'm not sure what these are called but Evie did pretty well rubbing her hands together to make her spinner fly...

The Children's Art Museum. A great afternoon.
